Two riders nabbed in QC over fake products

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested two delivery riders on April 17 for allegedly being involved in a fake parcel scam in Cubao district. The police report identified the suspects as Nestor Nantuna, 28, a delivery driver of PH Global Jet Express Inc. and accomplice Jayson Jeremie Bautista, 23. According to the QCPD, suspect Nantuna provided suspect Bautista parcels containing fake products which the latter delivered to unsuspecting recipients who would pay. Upon this information, police conducted an operation where the suspects were arrested in possession of eight parcels containing fake products. —ABBY BOISER
