Parañaque drug buy-bust: 7 arrested, almost P6 M shabu seized
MANILA, Philippines — Police seized almost ₱6 million worth of shabu and arrested seven suspects in a buy-bust operation Monday night in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City, the Southern Police District (SPD) reported on Tuesday.
Authorities identified the arrested suspects as Bablyn Cabueñas, 35; Edwin John Gonzales, 39; Ebrahim Karim, 29; Ronnie Bayao, 35; Omera Guimad, 30; Amira Carel, 21 and Datu Rajabuyan, 19.
Seized from them were 882 grams of shabu worth an estimated ₱5,997,600, a weighing scale, drug-using paraphernalia, as well as the buy-bust money.
The suspects, who will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now under custody of the SPD.
