MANILA, Philippines — Flooding would likely hit low-lying areas of Western Visayas due to the combined effects of southwest monsoon or “habagat” and Super Typhoon Egay (international name: Doksuri), which continues to move northwestward over the Philippine Sea, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.
