Cessna plane goes missing in Isabela
CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — A six-seater Cessna 206 plane was declared missing an hour after taking off at the Cauayan Domestic Airport in Barangay San Fermin in Cauayan City on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 24, authorities said.
The Cessna, with tail number RPC 1174, took off at 2:16 p.m. and was bound for the coastal town of Maconacon when it went missing.
According to airport personnel, the plane was supposed to arrive at the Maconacon airport at 3 p.m.
The names of the pilot and the five passengers were not immediately available.
Police from Maconacon were sent out to monitor the coastal areas for a possible sighting of the plane.
