Capsized PCG boat found but 4 personnel still missing
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Monday reported its capsized boat has been found, but the four personnel who were on board remain missing.
PCG rescuers said the aluminum boat was found floating seven miles away from Calayan Island in Cagayan.
It added search and rescue operations for the missing rescuers are still ongoing.
PCG’s boat overturned off Abulug, Cagayan last Wednesday.
The missing PCG crew were supposed to rescue the crew of a tugboat 21 nautical miles away from Aparri.
