3 arrested in QC for stealing metal sheets
Three men were arrested by the Quezon City Police District on Sunday for stealing metal sheets in Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City. According to the police report, the suspects Joseph Melchor, 44, a certain “Joker” of legal age who fled, and a 15-year-old were caught by motorcycle patrollers carrying galvanized sheets of metal. When asked if they had any authority to carry the items, instead of responding, the suspects ran in different directions. Police chased the suspects, which led to the arrest of Melchor and the minor. Their companion is being hunted. The stolen metals were confiscated and a case of theft is being readied against the suspects before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
